Credit Card Fact Sheet
Credit cards offer various benefits with their use:
-They provide emergency security when in a bind. Unexpected finances are often incurred and credit allows you to pay for them immediately.
-Credit cards are a safer way of paying than cash. If you lose your card you can immediately cancel it, whereas if you lose cash, you have no insurance on its recovery.
-Using a credit card can offer you various rewards. For example, if you sign up for an airline credit card, you can earn points towards free air travel!
-If you already have a trusted bank, you can apply for a credit card that is linked directly with that bank.
-Credit cards allow you to establish credit. When you choose to purchase a house or car, credit is often the first thing lenders will look at. Build your credit up by applying for a credit card and maintaining your monthly payments.
Building good credit can be more beneficial than you may know. Good credit allows you to become eligible for lower interest rates, more options for credit cards, and of course you will look more appealing to lenders.
